Baidoa (Qalin) - At least 14 people were injured after roadside bomb exploded in a crowded area in Baidoa town, southwest of Mogadishu.
Two of the casualty were reported very serios according to the main hospital in Baidoa.
The Governor of Bay region, Abdi Adam Hosow confirmed the 14 civilians injured in the attack, which he called a foolish act masterminded by Alshabab.
Hosow said, "This is a terror act, the militants were behind it and wanted to kill civilians"
"We will arrested the perpetrators and bring them before the justice" he added.
Baidoa, the city of Somalia's largest maize farmland, is the third largest city in Somalia, but, witnessed longtime clan conflicts and war between the Alshabab and Alqaeda one side and Somalia forces, Ethiopian military and AMISOM from the other side.
