Mogadishu, QN - At least ten people incluing seven pirates and three crew members died in Haradhere Somalia as Malaysia flagged ship dronwed after heavy waves turned its upside down.
Waves slapped the drowned ship, MV ALBEDO, which was held in Somalia coast since November 11, 2011, when Somali pirates hijacked it.

Pirate Hussein Madobe told Qalin News through phone that they confirmed seven if the pirates and three crew members dead and dozens missing.

"The gunmen on the ship were about twenty, seven of them died, and eleven are missing, and we know that three of the crew died and the rest are missing" Madobe said.

"The ship was in Haradhere area for almost 3 years, it was here since November 2011, and it drowned because of the waves that laoded water on the ship" he added.

Locals and pirate rescuers are trying to rescue the missing crew and pirates. The efforts succeeded to rescue seven people but it is not yet clear if they are crew or pirates.

This is not the first pirate held ship that drowned, but there are so many other broken ships abondoned in Somalia coast after they washed out as pirates held them for ransom.
