    Somalia Prime Minister visits Baidoa provintial town

    Baidoa, QN - The Somalia Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon (Saacid) made a visit to Baidoa, the provincial of Bay region, which is the sector 3 of African Union Mission in Somalia — AMISOM.

Baidoa, QN - The Somalia Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon (Saacid) made a visit to Baidoa, the provincial of Bay region, which is the sector 3 of African Union Mission in Somalia — AMISOM.
The regional governor Abdi Adan Hosow, ministers and members of the parliament accompanied the PM to his visit of Monday morning to Baidoa, as he is trying to convince the regional traditional elders and civil society to support the local administration.
The PM’s delegation arrived in Baidoa about 10.30am and head to Bakin Hotel in the eastern entrance of the city where they held a meeting with the Ethiopian military officials in the region before they met with the traditional elders.
Mohamed Hassan Omar, a civil society member who is in Bakin told Qalin the that PM and the rest of his delegation are in meeting with the traditional elders and a technical committee of a Baidoa meeting that will form a six —region federal state including the controversial Jubbaland regions in southern Somalia.
The PM will return to Mogadishu later today, after having meeting with all parts of the regions including the AMISOM sector forces, the Somali National Army, the civil society and the traditional elders.
