Mohamed Osman= Jubba-South Sudan, QN — The President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud leading a high profile delegation pays two days of official visit to South Sudan, where he is supposed to attend the national freedom day of South Sudan together with other African leaders at an occasion for the celebration of this day when southern Sudan separated from rest of Sudan two years ago.
President Hassan is due to have bilateral talks with his counterpart, the president of South Sudan Salva Kir in Jubba discussing ties between the two nations and Somali business community in South Sudan that have emerging businesses in that country.
The Somalia president attended the Somali business community in Jubba to listen their concerns before he holds official meeting with the president of South Sudan and urged them to stand for the rebuilding of their country and create businesses for the youth.
The Somali National News Agency-SONNA confirmed that the president’s visit is the first official visit he makes in South Sudan since he was elected in September 2012.
