    Mogadishu and rest of the country prepare for Eid al-Fitr celebrations

    Mogadishu:-As the holy month of Ramadan is going to end and start the cheerful celebrations on this occasion, people in the Somali capital Mogadishu, the rest in the country and Muslim world are prepared while markets are very busy.

Mogadishu:-As the holy month of Ramadan is going to end and start the cheerful celebrations on this occasion, people in the Somali capital Mogadishu, the rest in the country and Muslim world are prepared while markets are very busy.
Parents with their children are seen in the main markets in the Somali capital Mogadishu in the past days such: Bakara, Suq-bacad, Hamarweyne markets and other markets in the 17th districts in Benadir region buying cloths, sweets and other products for themselves and for their children according to the marketers.
Children’s choice on this is to have new clothes, shoes and other materials in which they play during Eid-days like rubber guns, mobile phones, cars and toys while children from poor families or in the internally displaced camps in the country are not expected to share happiness equally with other counterparts if they don’t get Eid offers.
Reports say some of the foreign and local aid agencies distributed cloths and cash to orphans and poor children in the Mogadishu and other regions in the northeast, northwest and south central Somalia in order to participate it.
Old women are having henna at their homes while young girls are streaming to beauty salons where ladies and young girls are beautified, beauty salons are very busy at this moment as Eidul-fitri, one of two major Eids of Muslim community is closing and one or two days remain only and happily waited.
Similarly men and boys are in a queue at barbers in the cities going to have their cut or shave, but the fee of both services provided by beauty salons and barbers during the preparation of Eidul-fitri in this month of Ramadan is too expensive.
The preparation of Eid-Mubarak is continuing and the Expectations of the people to have Eid celebrations in peace despite nightfall attacks occur in the Somali capital Mogadishu by the Al-qaeda linked group of Al-Shabab.
Somali community are making use of the holy month Ramadan by worshiping Allah and praying Tarawih and Salatu Tajid prayers as there is a night better than one thousand nights in the holy month specially late days besides the rest of the goodness of other days in this month.
