    Somalia President condemned Baidoa restaurant attack

    MOGADISHU, 06 Dec. 2014 (Qalin) - The Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud condemned the Baidoa restaurant attack that left 18 people dead and more than 35 injured and called for quick investigation.

MOGADISHU, 06 Dec. 2014 (Qalin) - The Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud condemned the Baidoa restaurant attack that left 18 people dead and more than 35 injured and called for quick investigation. In a press statement from the presidential press office the president called the Baidoa twin blasts as a desperate actions of the "Terrorists" and sent condolence to the families that lost loved ones in the deadly attack.

"This awful suicide attack targeted to innocent civilians  shows us the hostility of the anti peace elements and how desperate to spoil the peace and stability of Somalia" The president said in the statement. "For those who lost their lives in the attack I pray ALLAH to give them paradise and those wounded to get quick recovery" he added.


The President sent condolence to the families and the entire Somali people for the lost of 18 people that lost lives in the deadly restaurant attack in Baidoa, which the attackers used a sole suicide bomber who targeted people in the restaurant lobby and then a vehicle borne IED targeted to a hotel opposite the restaurant.

Three Journalists were among the death toll and four others were injured and submitted to Baidoa General Hospital, where they are treated now.
